Jason Kelce addressed the viral moment he grabbed a heckler's phone for calling his brother Travis an anti-gay slur.

This weekend, a video from outside the Penn State and Ohio State football game shows someone yelling at the former NFL player, "Hey Kelce, how does it feel your brother's a [F-word] for dating Taylor Swift?"

Jason then appeared to grab the man's phone, throw it on the ground, before picking it up and walking away with it. Videos then show that the man asked for his phone back, to which Jason said, "Who's the [F-word] now?"

Following the news, Jason began ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown by addressing "everything that took place this week."

"I’m not happy with anything that took place," he explained. "I’m not proud of it. In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I don’t think that’s a productive thing. I really don’t. I don’t think it leads to discourse [or that] it’s the right way to go about things. In that moment, I fell down to a level that I shouldn’t have."

“The bottom line is, I want to live my life — I try to live my life — by the ‘golden rule.' That’s what I’ve always been taught. I try to treat people with common decency, respect, and I’m going to keep doing that moving forward even though I fell short this week," Jason said.

“I'm going to do that moving forward," he noted. "We've got a game to focus on, obviously a match up, I don't think this is the platform, necessarily, to go into more detail.”

Personally, I can't get over the fact that someone thought it would be a good idea to hurl a slur at anyone, let alone someone who professionally shoved people for a living. What do you think?
